Our Story

Born from a simple belief: the best evenings start with the right pour.

Wines by the Valley didn't appear overnight. It grew out of late nights, empty glasses, and a conversation that kept coming back to one question — why does a good wine have to feel fancy to be good?

We opened our doors on Capitol Boulevard SE with a single mission: bring a real wine experience to Tumwater — one where you can walk in without knowing a single varietal by name and still leave feeling like a connoisseur.

Eight years later, that mission hasn't changed. Our list is still hand-selected, our cocktails are still made from scratch, and our doors are still open to anyone who wants a genuine good time.
